About Me

Hello there! My name is Victoria and I'm currently 23 years old, I just graduated from college, I have a bachelor degree as an ESL teacher and before I sink into work I would like to travel. I live in San Diego, California and I was raised there but I went to live to Mexico for a couple of years so I'm very good with Spanish.

I like to be adventurous and I love talking with new people and learn what I can from others. I also love learning new languages, I just wish I could put my knowledge to practice and one day be fluent in many languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I really would like to have contact with local people and have an actual excuse to talk to them, in public it's pretty difficult for me. And I believe it would be a better experience than staying at a hotel.

Interests

My interest are sports like longboarding and surfing I'm not a pro in either of this two but I'm learning! Music, I love listening to music and finding new songs and genre to enjoy. And obviously learning new languages, I'm centered with German and Italian for the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like and listen to almost any genre, like literally in English, Spanish and even in German. But my preferences are more rock, funk, blues and rancheras haha.

I've seen many films but I can't say I have a favorite one but I can say I'm not a big fan of horror. And with books I like reading poetry and for novels I prefer drama and suspense and non fiction books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe I could say going to live to Mexico when I turned 15 was something huge for me cause I didn't even know how to speak Spanish and 6 months later I knew how to get around the city and after 2 year I know how to get around the whole country it's amazing what you learn about other people and about yourself when you step outside t of your comfort zone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, United States, Vatican City State
