I love exploring new places, learning about the culture, history, and people of countries I visit and believe that's best done by meeting the locals. Nothing beats local knowledge especially when it comes to hidden gems like the best food joints in town.

Spent the night in a small village with no electricity or running water in the middle of the Mekong River in Laos - I really enjoyed hanging out with all the kids in the community
