About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy people!
ABOUT ME
I am a very open minded, outgoing, friendly, down to earth, generous, reliable person, who likes to be with people but also enjoys her time with family and alone. I am a family person, devoted to my daughter (who has just graduated abroad) ,my husband (whom I adore!) and also to my friends and relatives. I never stop, I always have something in mind and try to gather people together to have fun, spend -quality- time together and join for a good cause (I am very involved with NGO's activities). I have no fear of new experiences and new things (and above all, new people!!!) and get thrilled whenever there is a new challenge. There is nothing to weird, too difficult, too ugly or too much for me- and my team!!!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about respect, care and love. If we have these three pillars the rest is easy and comes around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At present I have a busy life and barely time to meet up and my house is not fit for guests since we had to move to a smaller apartment, but I am happy to help if you have any questions.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Marvellous people I have encountered so far!!!
Interests
I LOVE travelling. Seeing new places and new landscapes is attractive, but what I really enjoy about wandering is meeting the amazing people I have met throughout the years. I love my job (I am involved in HR, marketing and communication) but I cannot wait to have some time off and fly away with my daughter, my husband (or alone). Since my daughter was born (she is 21) we both have traveled all over the world, explored jungles, rainforests, trod through many towns and cities, and met the most amazing individuals who have made our trip exceedingly special.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow... could not list all the books I have enjoyed and could recommend. I am an easy listener (my taste goes from classical music to R&R) and I enjoy movies with a message (I am not too much of an "action movie" person). But, whatever means fun and new experiences, I am open!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a whole year in Africa, another year in South America and many months (scattered) travelling around the world. I have been to over 100 countries and I have experienced amazing things, since most of the time I was alone. I have encountered tribes in Burkina Faso who had never seen a white woman (and blond!), I have been threatened and almost beaten in a public bus in Haiti (and eventually invited for dinner!), I have visited Nefertiti's tomb by myself and wandered around Haya Sofia in Istambul when they were both closed (the guards were amazing!) and experienced so many things in my trips that a whole book wouldn't be enough to list them down...
Teach, Learn, Share
Do I have anything to teach? I am sure I have much more to learn, but I am happy to share from my cooking skills to my endless imagination (any bedtime stories for your kids??) and my husband is the sweetest guy on earth and will be as helpful as his creativity allows him.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At the moment I am incredibly busy building a business and working full time. Hence, taking people around is very limited, as the little amount of time I have I devote to my hubby and business. But, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!!
