About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep exploring Manitoba while peppering in some long distance adventures, make some cool theatre, and inhale as much life as I possibly can.
ABOUT ME
I live communally with my 3 best friends, one cat named Thistle, and one dog named Liberty. I also have 100's of worms living in my vermicompost bin, I call them all Wormies.
I am an artist.
I am a firm believer in part-time work. The 40hr work week is an archaic token of a time gone by.
I am into making rather than buying, cooking vegan delights, and working in the garden.
PHILOSOPHY
Leave no trace.
Curiosity and kindness.
Be like the trees, strive less grow more, support your community, and then return to the earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted several amazing travelers, and have stayed with several amazing hosts. I am a pretty big fan of Manitoba and love sharing it with folks.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been beautiful and amazing. Everyone who comes through the door brings a new perspective and energy and that experience has been a treat.
I am so thankful for the great humans who hosted me and my friends while travelling and grateful to have met the brilliant souls that I have.
Interests
I really enjoy being outside, and in nature. I used to live on a tiny farm in the middle of nowhere, and I would sit in this tree house that I built with my brother and my mom, and I would listen to the birds flying overhead, and it was so quiet outside that I could hear their wings flapping, and I think that was the most beautiful thing. I'm always searching for that kind of silence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Heard by Victoria:
"We cannot offer you material things, for what you have done for us. The only thing we may give you, is our gratitude."
- Said by someone with far less than I have, but with a greater heart than I, and a truer sense of living. Someone to aspire to.
