ABOUT ME

I think maybe the best way to describe myself would be... eclectic? I graduated with a degree in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences with a minor in Environmental Studies a few years ago. I participated in research throughout college & decided I wanted some more hands-on, real-life experience, so shortly after graduating, I moved to new zealand and worked at a bunch of farms there (blueberry-picking, permaculture farms, vineyards, kiwi & apple orchards), then came back to the US and needed a job, so I became a cab driver! I saved up enough money to go on a bicycle trip with some friends down the pacific coast, came back & drove cab some more, got an internship at an herbal medicine farm, and now this year I'm working in the vegetable garden at Taliesin and at the farm and kitchen at Enos Farms in Spring Green. I love exploring and I am lucky to have so much adventure in my life!

Intereses

Oh boy, that's tough. I have a lot of interests! I love listening to science podcasts, learning about and growing herbs & herbal medicine, farming & gardening, especially with permaculture and other best-practices, photography, singing, playing board games, drawing & painting (although I'm a total newb), cooking, biking, running, swimming, storm-chasing, and general exploration!
