ABOUT ME

i study architecture, and i am very interested in everything that has to do with the way people live, creative thinking, all kinds of visual expressions.

i love notebooks, and i try to always have one with me. sometimes i write or draw clever things, but most of the time i just use them as a distraction when i am bored.

PHILOSOPHY

when i was younger, i was a lord of the rings fanatic. my friend and i actually believed that we belonged to the hobbit-world, so we would pray for hairy feet and have food-competitions, to see who could eat the most.

the hobbit-way-of-life has never really worn off since then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i am very new to all of this, but i used to live with someone who had a couple of couch surfers over, which was a really good experience. now, with my own profile here and all, i am looking forward to meeting some interesting people i´d never have the chance to meet if it wasn´t for cs!

Interests

making really bad jokes that could be a part of a equally bad advertisement and laughing hysterically,eating food (not making it), music, drawings, good movies (one at a time, i am not a movie-fanatic), drinking coffee with friends, bicycling in copenhagen, architecture, taking pictures, making crazy plans in my head for the future and getting a kick out of it... and when the glimpse i had in my head disappears, i try to force it back in my head so that i can enjoy the feeling again. well, in short, i guess its called daydreaming.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love all of sofia coppolas movies.
i like books and movies that dont really have a point, when the author or director has managed to portray a sense of "nothing at all". big dramatic and "capturing" stories dont really appeal to me.

two of my favourite writers are norwegian (and therefore you`ve probably never heard about them) ; frode grytten and karl ove knausgård. i also love reading haruki murakami.

when it comes to music i like to think that i am am generally open-minded, but to tell the truth i always fall in love with the typical indie-music, with arcade fire, belle and sebastian and beck as my all-time-favourites.

Teach, Learn, Share

i love to meet new people - especially those that keep an interesting conversation about things i dont know anything about, people with a good sense of humour and people that can talk for hours about absolutely nothing, and still manage to compare the topic to the "greater meaning of life".
