Overview
About Me
I have just moved to Hay-on-Wye after a year of travelling SE Asia and Europe. Prior to this I lived in Bristol where I lived for 4 years while worked in the wind turbine industry. I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. After a year on the road myself I’d like to keep some of the travelling spirit now I’m settled (at least for now) It would be great to meet up with fellow travellers for a coffee, beer or some sightseeing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To welcome travellers into my town and to keep my travelling spirit alive while I’m at home.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is Jazz, rhythm and blues, soul and folk.
Currently my favourite books are Prisoners of Geography and Twilight over Burma but these change often, with every good book I read!
I’m not so good with movies but I love a good documentary!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in Shan state Myanmar and sleeping in a real treehouse.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people about my town and the surrounding countryside which is the amazing Brecon Beacons or Black Mountains.
I would like to learn the saxophone but if you don’t play that I’ll happily settle for a traditional dish from your home town.
Share a coffee, a drink, some dinner, a laugh, some music, a good time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can spend some time showing people the town with its famous book shops, we can hike a mountain, swim in a river or just spend some time having a coffee or a drink.
