Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm couchsurfing in hopes to learn about new places through the eyes of people who live there. Meeting new people, the unknown can be uncomfortable at times. But I prefer to push through that for the value of human connection. And I love to help travelers by offering my home.

Interests

I love to travel. I'm very active, and love to kayak, run, do yoga. I've done a couple of triathlons and running races. I am learning to surf. I love the beach and the sea(who doesn't?) I enjoy being healthy and cooking. I love reading, being with friends, dancing. I speak Italian, and beginning to learn Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the very top of Huayna Pichu, that tall mountain in the backdrop of all the pictures of Macchu Pichu was the absolute highlight of my trip to Peru, especially since heights is not my thing exactly.
Another amazing sight is Kalalau valley and beach seen from the Waimea Canyon in Kauai.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share/practice my language with you (English, Russian, Ukrainian) and I would love to practice my Italian. I'm a certified yoga instructor, so can definitely share my love for yoga. I can cook with you, learn new dishes. I traveled extensively - I'd be happy to give tips about any particular place: where to stay, eat, etc.
