About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Current mission? Becoming a rocket scientist! After that I guess I need to chill a bit.

ABOUT ME
Hi peeps! I am a student in space physics from Norway. When I am not trying to Understand Space (TM) I spend my time doing various things. Some days I am a fierce paladin fighting monsters and exploring dangerous caves with the rest of my D&D squad. Other days I enjoy hiking mountains, and not just in a fictional world. I also love to make and eat food, and I plan to start brewing beer again (some day). I have also some experience with historical reenactment, making armor and fighting with swords. I can also admit to be a sucker for Netflix.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently an intern in Stuttgart, and realized how lonely it is to be in a city where you don't know anybody. A smart friend of mine advised me to use the amazing community of couchsurfers, so here I am, ready to defeat loneliness with you guys!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste for music, movies and books is too schizophrenic to describe. I am currently reading the sci-fi book "Ancillary justice", listening to Leonard Cohen and watching the fantasy series "Penny Dreadful", but tomorrow I might as well listen to Opeth, watch a documentary on sharks and well, probably continue reading the same book. I am not a very fast reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to fly paragliding, and silently glide through the air hundreds of meters over the ground. People at the ground looked like ants, and I felt like a huge bird. Then I broke my leg.

I also lived on Svalbard for half a year, an amazing arctic archipelago with a nature and climate that constantly tries to kill you. We had to carry rifles to protect us from polar bear, and always brought avalanche gear in case of need. It was cold, astonishing and cold.

Oh, and I have also failed to count to one (just now, actually).

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Norway, Svalbard and Jan Mayen
