I'm a recent college grad who loves traveling and everything outdoors. I've traveled to India, China, Tanzania, Kenya, Australia, and a few countries in Western Europe. Most recently I came from a house-sitting/couchsurfing trip in Alaska (Anchorage, Seward, Denali, Fairbanks, and Juneau) where my friend and I went on spectacular hikes like the Harding Icefield Trail.

I believe the best way to travel and really appreciate a new place is by meeting people who've lived in that place for a while. I also like having company on hiking/backpacking trips and other excursions.

I've loved reading ever since I was a kid, so I have lots of favorite books, but more recently I've been reading non-fiction/memoirs (Hillbilly Elegy, books relating to poverty and international development, Bury the Chains).

I like atmospheric electronic chillout music as well as soundtracks from musicals and movies like Wicked, Les Mis, and The Hobbit. The 3 Idiots is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I also love cooking and sharing food (I make Chinese food and other types of Asian food mostly, and sometimes comfort food) and baking.
