À propos de moi

Hello, Everyone! My name is Victor. I was born in Ukraine was grown up there by my lovely Russian parents. So, as you can see, I was mutually influenced by two very similar, but still different cultures, living in both Russian and Ukrainian language environments I've got all the best and the worst from them. However I consider Russian to be my mother-tongue and use more frequently in my daily life then Ukrainian(mostly because most people with whom I used to talk to can understand it pretty well). For whole my life I was active in sport, I adore sabre fencing, I'm practicing it since I was 12, I skipped only one year when I was a freshman at my university in Poland. In 2017, April I've been officially graduated from Vistula University (it's private university in the capital of Poland - the city of Warsaw) with engineering degree in computer science.
In 2014 was my first time I've visited China and I cannot resist falling in love with this country, people, their language and culture. I never sit on one place for very long period of time, I always in move, in action, my life is pretty chaotic and unpredictable, so in the future I would like to become more stable and self-balanced, but still full of life and positive energy which I ready to share with everyone who needs it ;)

Also I am fond of healthy lifestyle: I have no any bad habits like drinking alcohol or smoking, I am against any kinds of drugs. I enjoy meal only when it's healthy, also I gave myself New Year's last year, so I refused to eat sweeties for more than three years :D

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because traveling is fun, it's always about discovering new places and people, it 's also about getting new knowledge, feeling new emotions, enriching your inner culture, giving other people happiness and unconditional love.

Also I welcome all the guests who would like to visit my hometown(Netishyn, Khmelnytskaya obl.), when I am able there, hope you will like it :D

In the case I am not answering on your request, it's simply means that I'm not in my hometown.

Centres d'intérêt

Probably the biggest problem of mine, I have too much interests as for the young man. So here some of them:

Sports:
Sabre fencing(olympic sport discipline), swimming, martial arts(such as english boxing, muay thai, 气功(qigong), 太极拳(taiqiquan), karate, MMA...believe me this list is endless), basketball, long distance run (earlier I did a lot of jogging, I gave up recently because of health issues), jumping the skip (also earlier and also gave it up).

Others:
learning foreign languages, poetry, math (in which I'm really suck), music, history, amateur movie making with further editing, computer science, IT, fine arts, architecture, theology, philosophy, psychology...ask more for details, it's only visible part of an iceberg at the highest top ;)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music : my interests in music are very wide from the classics and folk to hip-hop and heavy-metal.
In hip-hop I prefer groups and artists from 80's and 90's (see N.W.A, some songs of 2pac, Notorious B.I.G., Nas(mostly his debut work "Illmatic", it was claimed a number one hip-hop album of all times by various critics), Onyx, Mobb Deep, Fugees, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang). I am not a fan of today's mainstream rap, but there are some pleasant exceptions like Kendrick Lamar, sometimes ASAP Rocky, Tyler The Creator.
In heavy-metal it's definitely Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Motorhead.

Other favourite groups, artists and composers:
Led Zeppelin, Beatles (not too much), Woodkid, Gorillaz, Rage against the machine, RHCP, Onra (the Chinoseries instrumentals are amazing), Jeff Van Dyck, Hans Zimmer, Sean Price (this
dude was making serious stuff while he was alive), Eminem, Nirvana, Korn, Johny Cash, Santigold, Yelawolf, Frank Sinatra (I wish I had a voice like him!), The Platters, Massive Attack, Air, Sade, Aerosmith

Movies :
The Godfather; The Star Wars(episodes II, IV, V, VI, Rouge One); Saw(first movie); Scarface; 300 ; Pirates of the Carribian Sea(the whole trilogy is epic); 12 Years a Slave; Forrest Gump; The Intouchables (1+1) ; The Lion King; The Shawshank Redemption; The Dark Knight; Yip Man(trilogy); Ong Bak 3; Sin City; Seven; Paris, je t'aime; The Man of Tai Qi;

The Art of War by Sun Tzu (孫子兵法);
The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi;
Hagakure by Yamamoto Tsunetomo;
Analects by Confucius(孔子的论语);

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

most of the people wouldn't consider this as something amazing:

-traveling since 14 years by myself;
-became a member of national Ukrainian sabre fencing team under 17 years old in 2011-2012 season, got bronze medal in European fencing championships in teams' competitions;
-climbed the Great Wall of China twice when I was 17;
-taught female Chinese fellow how to pronounce Russian word "Ёжик"("Yozhik") which stands for a crew-cut or a small hedgehog;
-accidentally meet the people, I haven't seen for a long time, in unexpected places. The most fantastic example of all: I've meet one my friend from Kyrgyzstan in Shanghai near the Yu garden. The last time I've seen her before this particular case was in Tianjin a year ago. The probability of this event was pretty low(1 in ten million I suppose), but it happened somehow.
-received over 100 birthdays greetings from different people on my 20's anniversary;
-wrote my engineering diploma thesis alone, almost without any help;

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Can teach you basics of any language I speak, or share my knowledge of learning something else. Also I am good in fencing and know plenty of stuff about my favorite kind of sports.
