Just a French Backpacker with itchy feet!

I grew up in France, traveled around Europe and Southeast Asia with my brother in 2011, studied in the U.S. for 2 years, worked in Chicago and saved up for 2 years, backpacked for 6 months from Illinois to California and down the coast, lived in Dallas for a year, and then in San Diego for a bit.

I love trying new stuff yet I find some comfort in having a few habits. I can talk about a lot of stuff: economy/finance, history/geography, sports, food, you-name-it. Not talking is a little tougher, but in general, either I talk too much or not at all. Rarely in between.

I like cooking. I used to be a pastry chef.
I like basketball, as a player and a referee.

I love Nutella. Right, who doesn't!

Did I forget anything? Probably. Hopefully we'll meet up soon and we'll know more about ourselves and each other :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I always dreamed of traveling the world. Eventually, I started exploring the world in 2011 with my brother. I came back to France and HAD to stay at a hostel to keep traveling through the stories of the various people I met. I went to College in the United States and kept discovering amazing new people from the States and from the rest of the world.

And here I am, living the nomadic life again, and ready to live a life worth remembering.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I crossed the border between Mongolia and Inner Mongolia by foot.

Why is that amazing, you ask?
Well, officially you can't cross by foot, but my brother and I did not want to pay 100 CNY for a pickup that drives you 100 feet across the border.

So we ended up standing with our 20kg backpacks with a half dozen gun men walking in circle for about what may have been the four longest hours of our lives.

I can offer... Tons of bad jokes. I share my bread, my car, my experiences, sometimes my ear and I can offer as much good times as we can possibly manage to make!
