ABOUT ME

I hate these descriptions as I never know what to say: divorced with a 2 yo girl (shared custody), smoker, social drinker, love reading, traveling (as far as the budget allows it :)), computer games, anything mountain related (within the limits of a bad knee); also I like playing basketball. I enjoy spending time with my friends and I love making new ones. It took me almost 5 minutes to write this so I will just give up now!

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly rock music, but also some pop, folk, jazz, country, etc...
I can't remember when I last saw a movie I can actually say I like, but my favorite one is "Scent of a Woman" and my favorite TV show is "Friends"
right now I read a Romanian one (Sunt o baba comunista) and the 5th volume of A song of Ice and Fire; my favorite book is hard to choose... My all time favorite author is Mircea Eliade. One of the book I liked a lot is "Half of a yellow sun" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, but one that really impressed me (very recently finished) is "I Spit on Your Graves" by Boris Vian. Also, amongst the poets, I like best Bacovia and Esenin.
