After many nomadic years I've finally settled down in Ghent. Looking to keep travelling vicariously through meeting travellers and giving back to this community that has hosted me in many countries over the years by offering my humble abode to visitors!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first discovered couchsurfing while travelling, and primarily use it for that. Since then I have often hosted people, if possible given where I'm living. I like how easy it is to make friends in the community, and learn new things about people and places.

Interests

Interests come and go, but I'm always keen to experience new things! In a typical week I like to arrange dinners with friends, see theatre shows, films, read, and be present in the moment!

Music, Movies, and Books

A little bit all over the place in terms of music.
I often feel pretty ignorant in terms of film, it's a subject which comes up often in discussion and usually leaves me with a few more recommendations noted down. Yet somehow I can never stay ahead of the curve :)
Regarding books, I try to read a lot and often!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if anything I've ever done is "amazing" but I get a lot of meaning from my research and hope by the end of my career I can add up the little instances of helping people by saying that the sum has been "amazing" :)
