My name is Víctor, I'm a PhD in Chemistry student living in Pau, a very small town in the south of France. I came here speaking no French, so let's see how long I survive here. I love travelling. I have been to Sydney by myself just because I wanted to attend a Coldplay concert again.

I have spent all my life in Spain, but two years ago, once I finished my studies I moved to the UK. I am "lucky" to say that I served a pint of Estrella Damm to Hugh Grant in one pub in London, and washing dishes in a very famous fish and chips in London too. So maybe I have washed the plates you were eating from.

Now I am just doing my PhD in France, willing to travel and work around the world once I finish. I live in a 9 square metres room, so by the moment, I can't host anyone. But as soon as I move in a new one, you will have a place in Pau to stay and to visit such a boring amazing town! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great opportunity to make new friends around the wold. My friends have used it for a couple of years and are really happy. New people, new places to go and new adventures.

Interests

I love traveling, especially if it's a Coldplay concert at some part of the trip. Love hanging out with friends and meeting new people. If anyone proposes me an adventure, no matter the place, I will say yes otherwise I will regret it all my life. I am also interested in Politics, having no problems with people who disagrees with my ideas. It's just funnier, let's see who is more right at the end :P

I have been to Brazil, China and Australia by myself. Solo trip. And it was amazing. I have also moved in France while I don't speak French at all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new stuff, especially related to other languages and cultures. For example, I will not go in China again wearing a green hat!

I think I could teach you quite a lot of insults in different languages, but I also could teach you how to cook some Spanish or Chinese food recipes.

Of course, if I am hosting you, I will show you the city where I live till you know and remember every corner in it!
