Overview
About Me
Currently traveling in South America. Normally I study industrial engineering in Buenos Aires. I speak English, Norwegian and Spanish (learning it now).
I love cooking, and constantly find myself stealing great recipes from YouTube. I also love coffee (a good cappuccino always puts a big smile on my face), salmon and high quality meat. Argentinian beef was the second most important pull factor for me doing my exchange in Argentina (yeah... meat❤️), learning Spanish being the first.
As of two years ago, I am a licensed paraglider pilot (no, I cannot take you flying. My certified level is not high enough yet...) and enjoy bringing my inconveniently big paraglider backpack to mountains and fly for hours.
I have played basketball for many years (shooting guard and small forward) and generally enjoy being active and staying in shape through sports or going to the good old gym. I don’t do much/enough jogging, unfortunately, but like to go for a run to explore a new city or neighborhood.
As a true Scandinavian I must admit I like getting drunk and partying with my friends. I fit the Norwegian stereotype in just about every way, except for actually being able to talk to strangers while sober... I love Norwegians, don’t get me wrong!
I am a neat and organized non smoker, with a strong moral code of helping with dishes, laundry, maybe even cooking(?). If none of this is desired, I’ll still contribute to nice conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing for the same reason as the majority here; to meet friendly locals that can give me an inside view of their hometown. I am also very interested in building friendships in different countries and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deciding to study engineering in Spanish without really speaking Spanish. I still feel like a brainless, misplaced statue sometimes in class, but life is getting easier and easier. Looking forward to my next semester!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with practicing English,l. It is not my first language, but in Scandinavia we are lucky enough to learn the language thoroughly. I consider myself patient when it comes to teaching/helping others. In the process of learning Spanish, I know how frustrating it can be sometimes when learning a language.
Furthermore I can help people seeking to improve their public speaking skills or communication skills in general. I have done some courses on public speaking for other student in my university.
