Hello, I’m Cecilia! I grew up between Italy and France. I love outdoor sports like surfing, rock climbing, and hiking. When being outside isn’t an option, you’ll usually find me reading, crocheting or playing music.

Recently, I bought an old ambulance that I’m slowly turning into a home on wheels. I hope to be able to travel with it soon 🤞

Some of the best encounters I’ve had while traveling happened thanks to Couchsurfing. A few of the people I met along the way genuinely changed how I see certain things. I don't think that simply visiting a country is enough to understand it, so I try to spend as much time as possible talking with the people who live there. That’s what I love most about traveling!

As a guest, I really enjoy spending time with my host when it fits their schedule. I like exploring the city together, sharing stories, exchanging recipes, and cooking a meal together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ten years agos, a budget-conscious student, I began my travels through hitchhiking and couchsurfing. Little did I know, it would become my absolute favorite way to explore a country: getting to know its people, culture, and all the little wonders it has to offer! It's been a blast discovering the world this way 💛

Interests

Traveling and meeting new people can be tiring, yet it's also an incredible source of energy for me.

Surfing has been a part of my life since I was six, blending my passion for adventure with a deep connection to nature. Since then, I have also taken up rock climbing and kite surfing, which I enjoy every chance I get.

Politics fascinates me, and I enjoy engaging in discussions about current events. In my downtime, I love delving into conversations about movies and books, exploring different narratives and perspectives. If you like rock music and it's history, we can talk for hours :)
