About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm currently on a one-month bike tour from Las Vegas to Denver, my first long bike trip! I used to do a lot of domestic and international travel, but the last few years I've been staying local and working. Happy to finally take a little break from work to explore beautiful parts of the US by bicycle.
ABOUT ME
I am a writer in Seattle and love the Pacific Northwest. I was fairly nomadic in my 20s, did a lot of international travel, and taught English in South Korea, but somehow ended up back where I grew up.
PHILOSOPHY
I generally have a positive outlook on things and like to see the good in people and places. I think humans are more alike than different and we have a lot to share and learn from one another. I try to always be respectful and gentle while standing up for what I believe and keeping a sense of humor about things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was lucky enough to be hosted by some amazing folks while traveling in Europe in 2011. I've been in Seattle ever since and am looking forward to some domestic travel.
