Overview
About Me
I'm a relaxed, calm and light hearted person. Easy to talk to and to get on with. I like to think I'm creative but truly creative folk may have something to say about that!! That said I currently am in a video exhibited in the London Sugar and Slavery Museum for 6 months!...about Indian Indenture. I'm a philosophical thinker so love discussing and hearing other peoples thoughts and views. I'm have studied Psychotherapy, mindfulness, Humanities and social science and am into pondering social justice issues.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to visit a country is to stay with locals. They often tell me places or things I would never find as a tourist which always makes a trip special. I like travelling alone but I really like having company, interesting conversations and a few good laughs.
When I have hosted it's been great to share my local knowledge. Takes one away from the tourist triangle... though that triangle does have interesting stuff to see in London.
Interests
I enjoy a bit of art, playing piano, contemporary dance, yoga, countryside walks, cycling, though I am not brilliant at any of these things. I just do what I enjoy. Being good is a matter for the critics!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Love folk music. Anything mellow and moving. Film at the moment is The Breadwinner and fav book mmm well anything by Thich Nhat Hanh currently but ask me on a different day and my answers might change. So many to choose from!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Himalaya's! Hard work vacation and a yoga retreat - Nepal.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you meditation and mindfulness but only if it interests you.
If you are staying with me I'll show you around or just hangout when I'm not at work. Happy to take you to the theatre if that is not a thing in your country. I'm also ok with travellers who want somewhere to stay but would rather explore alone. I'm really easy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Gentle nature, kindness, open minded conversation and respect toward your home, your time and your kindness. I am always happy to fit into what works for you.....but don't ask me to cook unless you want to die!!! Happy to take you out for a meal if you can choose the place.
