Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been doing hitchhiking for quite a long time now and it just came together with couchsurfing. I think it is a great opportunity to meet many people from different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time somebody hosted me was in Germany. Marco is really a great guy, we talked a lot about a wide range of subjects. I am very thankful for the welcome he gave me and my hitchhiking companion.

Interests

Politics, Social and religious subjects (I can keep my mouth shut if need be).
Astronomy,
And of course physics, and all about it.
I am also interested in psychology - how people think and why do they do certain things .
Sports are great in general, but football takes the top spot. Have been participating in amateur tournaments for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books

Used to listen to a lot of hip hop, rock, jazz and soul music.
Remarque and Michio Kaku were quite inspiring. Also Tolkien!
I enjoy Tarantino movies (but who doesn't?).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiked from Latvia to France/Spain border and back+being ran over by a scooter during the trip.
Worked from house to house in the middle of ghetto.
