I like outdoor sports including hiking and paragliding.
I enjoy productive discussions and learning about other people to open my mind. I like guitar playing, cooking and baking. I travel(led) large parts of Europe and a bit of Central Asia, the western and eastern US.

I am a fan of rather small productions that have something special to them. First coming to my mind: Jagter (danish, incredibly touching), Adam's Apples (danish, intelligent and great black humor), Stopped on Track (german, improvised dialog, incredibly touching), ...
Sometimes an action blockbuster can be great as well and I share most germans passion for whodunit crime stories... :)

I enjoy Rock, Country, Rock'n'Roll, ...
Artists I like: VanHalen, Dokken, Rammstein, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, ... I play guitar myself.

I like books that I can learn from. Last read: 'Freedom' by Jonathan Franzen, currently 'Thinking, Fast and Slow' by Daniel Kahnemann.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I have done was living in a kyrgyz oasis during field season for a scientific project. Hundreds of miles away from everything but mountains and steppe.
