Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I literally decided 12 hours ago that I wanted to go on a road trip, so here I am trying to figure out lodging.

Interests

There isn't much I don't like, but what I do like, in no particular order, is bacon, people, football, animals, the ocean and beach, and gin. I like good jokes and bad, because laughing and smiling are the final destinations.

I love music because singing and dancing are great fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music except I'm still trying to understand hard metal, haha.

I love movies, and have been itching for a really good, modern, horror film. Otherwise, comedies are great, but really, I like them all.

My favorite book of all time is probably The Giver. It was one of the first times I read a book that really utilized one's imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked Half Dome! Not as amazing as climbing it, but baby steps? =)

I don't have any particular skills other than being able to connect and read people well. I can also tell really, really bad (IMO, good) puns. =)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm new to couch surfing, so I'm assuming this is some kind of compensation. I'd love to spend time with my hosts if they'll have me, and can offer a meal, home-cooked or eating out. I can always be a tour guide for when they visit as well, though I don't have a place that can host folks overnight, at the moment. Sorry!
