I am from the United States and am currently in medical school. I have a strong interest in medicine, Spanish, and mental health.

I love traveling. I’ve traveled internationally at least once a year for my entire life and have been to 5 continents so far (hopefully I’ll make it to Australia and Antarctica soon!). I have many tales to share from my travels, such as hiking up Machu Picchu in Peru, going on safaris in Kenya, and serving impoverished communities in a mobile medical clinic in the Ecuadorian Andes.

I like learning about other people and their interests. As much as I’ve learned, I’m always fascinated by people’s passions and want to expand my worldview. I strive to become a well-rounded person.

Note: I cannot currently host guests, but I still like to meet with locals or travelers near Columbus or Dayton.

Fun fact: I have over 6000 photos on my phone, but only about 15 of them are of me. I just don’t like taking many pictures of myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I enjoy a variety of music, but primarily hip hop and rap. I enjoy many TV shows and movies, but mainly comedy and action.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went backpacking around Spain by myself for a month. I was able to visit many spectacular sites and I also made tons of friends from around the world via Couchsurfing meetups.

I'm a friendly individual and have many experiences I've gained through school and through my travels. Given my diverse areas of study in college, I have many interests and have learned much about various fields of study. I feel like I can have meaningful conversations with hosts no matter how long or short I stay with them and I can talk at length about a variety of subjects.
