About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to re-explore my world and myself, rediscover things I've forgotten and aspects of myself I've lost touch wtih.

ABOUT ME

39 and after a few years of stagnancy and lack of growth I have begun my second life, a rebirth of sorts, re-tapping my potential, being energized by life and people, and trying to redefine who I am and where I'm headed. It's been a great re-emergence and I'm looking forward to the road ahead.

PHILOSOPHY

Love, learn, share.

Pretty simple. It's been my philosophy for a long time, but unfortunately it seems that CS has stolen my philosophy!!! Haha. I have to admit i was a little disappointed to see that though. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, i just started so I'm not entirely sure how this will progress, so I'll come back to this another time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never have couch-surfed outside of my circle of friends, though I've traveled to India and slept on the street, on a house-boat, in people's homes, in hostels, but nothing quite like what I imagine this would be like.

Interests

I'm pretty open to anything really. Love music, enjoy playing sports, travel is great, reading, writing, meditating, cooking (though I'm not always good at it) and well, almost anything that involves being outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Sci-fi, love documentaries, I enjoy inspirational and spiritual literature, though some can be quite annoying. I like the concept of liberating the mind, but I also feel pretty grounded and can't relate much to some of the flightiness of spiritualism. Makes sense? Bah.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm. can't think of anything right now. Sad? ya, but I'll come back to this.

Teach, Learn, Share

What do I have to teach? Good question. I'm not sure really. I consider myself to be a pretty balanced person, open and strong, but also vulnerable and cautious, so maybe all i have at the moment to share is me, and maybe my design skills, but I think in the near future i'll have a bit more to teach. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to learning a lot, including spanish, the tango, tai-chi. The list is long.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Dominican Republic, France, Guatemala, India, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, United States
