I am currently a Chemistry graduate student at the University of Massachusetts,Amherst. I grew up in India and for my graduate studies headed west to the USA with an aim of both studying and exploring the world with as much fun as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having a significant part of my life spent outside my hometown and family, I have constantly meet and befriended strangers and they have shaped my life in a great way and in fact I have also influenced their life. So this process of meeting and befriending new people, I find it pretty enjoyable with great outcome and that's why I love the idea of couchsurfing.

Interests

I am more of an outdoor junkie who loves exploring the nature be it through hiking or trail running. I love to travel and try to explore the places like a local. Most of my time I spend doing research in chemistry, remaining time I spend learning new language and guitar. A significant chunk of time also goes in long distance running.

A die hard Coldplay fan.
Movies there are many, but the best one would be The Shawshank Redemption.
Boooooks... I am not much of a reader but like to read the biographies of my favorite sportstars. Michael Phelps biography is the most inspiring for me.
