ABOUT ME

Hi there,

I'm originally from Bangalore (India) and did my studies in Australia for awhile. Iím currently living in Auroville, a small town 15 minutes from Pondicherry. I came here a few years ago (when I got tired of doing business the stressful way!)

And being in Auroville has made the whole experience that much more meaningful. This is a wonderful place - full of forests (man made!) and wildlife (no lions and tigers, but lots of mongoose, snakes, chameleons and peacocks, well, maybe it's not "wildlife" after all!).

We have no tar roads, no nightclubs and even no electricity in some areas (by choice). Lots of ideals though and it's been an adventure figuring out my Way.

All this to say hello, as i intend to start using couch-surfing a bit in the coming few months :)

CS is a fun project. Looking into it more seriously past few weeks, and looking forward ot hosting my first CS'ers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted quite a few ppl in the past, from 1 day to 1 week, though all were friends or friends of friends, and none from the CS network

Interessen

My interests are varied - from meditation to exploring Yahoo Pipes, from playing the sitar to playing Tennis, from watching Rome to watching it drizzle, from teaching Economics to learning Vedic Astrology, from understanding people to writing a book on Vedic Math, from monitoring interest rate changes to observing my cat pounce on a lizard.

Very interested in learning and teaching! I can show you a thing or two in Astrology, Indian Classical Music and Vedic Math... I swim a lot (a lot), I can play and teach Tennis at an intermediate level, I am comfortable with various software and development technologies, excel in excel, and I love taking portrait pics of friends.
