Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As far as I'm concerned, the best memories that I have made while travelling has been at the places which where at the opposite end of where the brochures or advertisements told me to go.
Whether it's the shabby old cafe out in the suburb that makes the most awesome milkshake or that warm cozy sofa of a local with some video games and some weird tasting pastries. I need someone to guide me there.
