I grew up in small village in Slovakia and I went to grammar school at neighbour town Skalica , which happens to be one of the most beautiful towns of my country. Most of my family and friends still live there but after finishing my high school, I was not able to choose university, what fits me. Now I am a student at Canterbury Chris Church University. I am studying Media and Communication and I funding my staying here by being chef in Moroccan restaurant... and I like it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I come to England, I have met a lot of students from different countries and all these new contacts simply makes me curious about other countries and cultures but it is really hard to do it alone and I am tired to trying to convince someone to travel with me. Couch surfing is great way how to accomplish this goal, make a new friends and gain and share experiences.

Interests

As I mentioned above, I am working as a chef. This proffesion also happened to be one of my biggest hobbies. I like to trying new recipes and food and that is partly a reason why I would like to travel.
I am also interested in martial arts, gymnastic and circus.
I have been training martial arts since I was 14 and went through Aikido to Karate, Boxing and Taekwondo.
I started with circus quite recently, during my first semester at uni. So far I am trying some joggling, diabolo and acrobatic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music bands would be Scorpions, I also like Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Nightwish, Bullet for my Valentine etc.
Favorite movie would be Fight Club, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Snatch and so on, but I also really like fantasy genre.
I am not really reading books in last years but I liked detective stories, for instance Leopard by Jo Nesbo or Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, learn and share is kind of my philosophy so I am willing to teach anything what I know - from cooking to riding a longboard. I am also seeking things which I never tried before and sharing, well that is a reason why I joined this website.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depends when and where we going to meet but I can offer you tour around the town, give information what host is seeking for and when it comes to sharing, there is one question what troubling me: What is that matter be a good chef when there is nobody to taste your food ;)
