About Me
Hello! My name is Viktor! I am professional dancer (instructor, choreographer, performer). I’ve always loved traveling and I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to do so! However, I often travel alone. I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I love doing things I’ve never done before. I just want to see as much of the world as I can because it keeps amazing me to know how much more beautiful it is than how I thought it was yesterday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was told recently to trust more in the universe that things will work out–I'm gonna put this out there as I'm trying to manifest a place on Couchsurfing.
Interests
I enjoy quite a lot of things in this life, including traveling, language learning, videography, and starting business ideas. I've put a ton of time and energy into consolidating these interests into various startups and platforms to share with others (predominately on social media). Some other things I really enjoy include surfing, running, skating, and working out!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite singer/bands: Li Ronghao, Girl's Day, Alec Benjamin, etc. (I love exchanging music, so feel free to send me songs if you will listen to my song suggestions as well)
Favorite movies: I love the Marvel movies! However, I prefer dramas/TV series! Some of my favorites are Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy. I mostly watch Chinese or Korean dramas though. There are too much to list, but I've watched many of the popular ones.
All things cult, queer, and film! Love Franz Kafka, and Radiohead, and John Waters! God's Own Country and good queer cinema in general, Michael Jackson, the Norwegian show Skam, reggaton and cumbia and sertanejo and bossa nova cuz I'm weird like that, also my heart belongs to Damien Rice and Cerati, and indie and arthouse cinema, and Irani movies, and Gena Rowlands and Liv Ullman and Anna Karina and their men, and Italo Calvino and Virginia Woolf, and obscure Benicio del Toro and James Spader films, and Jim Jarmusch and Wong Kar-Wai and Kieslowski and the guy who made Ida, and Yorgos Lanthimos, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Juliette Binoche, and Christopher Walken and Bela Tarr because those two totally make sense together, and stand-up comedy and performance art and the theatre, and B-movies and exploitation and cult and trash art and all things in bad taste, and poems.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through Lithuania. After asking Ieva, our free walking tour guide in Vilnius, for the best way to travel in Lithuania, she gave some options including hitchhiking. The next day we hitchhiked three times to get from Vilnius to Klaipeda. The day after that, we hitchhiked from Palanga to Kretinga. We ended up taking the train to Šiauliai afterwards. And the day after that we hitchhiked from Domantai back to Šiauliai and then again to get to Kaunas. They were my first hitchhiking experiences and they were amazing. To be able to interact genuinely with locals/natives was something really fulfilling and rewarding. And it really clarifies and demistifies my love for travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Dancing!
Learn: I'd love to learn some local slang, new music, or cool dance moves! I'm also interested in politics so I'd love to hear about any social/political issues your country or city is facing.
Share: Let's jam :) We can share stories, laughs, playlists, dark secrets, etc.
