About Me

I am an open-minded person always ready for a new adventure and I am also a bad planner, therefor I enjoy so much more to improvise and decide on the spot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to experience new country and culture is through its people! And CS is definitely one of the best ways to do so!

Interests

I can talk hours about things that interest me (preferably but not necessarily with a local liquor nearby) and I also love to listen to people talking about their passions. More specifically, I love movies (ranging from Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club to Star Wars and many more) and books (1984, On the Road, An Ordinary Life). I love talking about ideas and philosophy. It's also important for me to spend some time just on my own. During these moments I enjoy the most things like jogging, meditation or simply long walks both in the countryside and in the city. More than a year ago, I've become a vegetarian purly for ethical reasons. Otherwise I'm quite undemanding when it comes to food. Last but not least I've been experimenting with analogue photography but in that I am a total amateur - which means I'd love anyone to help me expend my knowledge!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to basicaly anything as far as it catches my interest. but I do like rock, country, blues and jazz.

I am a great movie fan but again, I don't have a clearly favourite genre. I love movies by Aronofsky, Nolan, Kubrick, Forman... there are so many more. But of course Star Wars, I love to talk about Star Wars.

I definitely do not spend as much time reading books as I would like to but I can name some of my most favourite books ever which are An Ordinary Life by Karel Čapek and 1984 by George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling alone for nearly one month through the States. During that time I learned a lot both about the country, it's people and about myself as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I study to become a teacher so to teach is basically my profession. ;)

There is something to learn from every day, no matter if we relize it or not.

Share - isn't it the whole idea of Couch Surfing? I love to listen to other people's stories and I am happy to share mine!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, myself! I cannot promise a succesful meal (still a skill I'm working on) but I like to carry with me one or the other kind of a traditional Czech alcohol - always a thing worth trying!
And of course, once more, the most important thing - experience and fun!
