Hello, my name is Viktoria and I am currently a student living in Edinburgh. I was born in Slovakia but lived in Canada for half my life. One of my biggest passions is traveling and exploring new cultures. I am very outgoing and positive with a thrive for adventures! My philosophy for travel is that these experiences enable me to learn new things and become a global citizen in a sense. With every year, my travel philosophy expands and changes because each experience shapes my viewpoints and knowledge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With all the hype among travelers, I decided I would give it a try as well. I believe couch surfing is a great way to interact with locals and learn more about a country by interacting with its citizens. Rather than staying at a hotel where you don't get much interaction with people, Couchsurfing enables me to exchange stories and interesting topics with my host and learn more about each culture.

Interests

I've got many interests, I enjoy an adventure and trying new things. I love to try new foods because who doesn't love food and sweets and chocolate and more food? I also enjoy learning about cultures, reading new things, learning new words in new languages and so on! I enjoy photography and want to get into making videos and taking better photographs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most crazy thing I have done was bungee jumping in Makarska Croatia over the beautiful blue sea. The jump was only 40 meters but having to get yourself to fall into nothing is pretty darn scary! Amazing experience and really gets the adrenaline going.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very outgoing and friendly, I love to share my stories and experiences. I can teach some words in a new language or help around with some housework, anything really as a show of appreciation for letting me into your home.
