I have special passion for documentary, that's why now I am working at the documentary film festival in Ukraine. And during the last few years I have been producing short films (all these stories were made in hybrid genre: between documentary and feature).
This passion to reach the essence of things among the countless crossroads of reality inspired me to make my own artistic project during last autumn in Urban Residencies in Poland. It was a kind of anthropological research of children's mythology. We tried to answer on question: “How real are the stories we use to explain our “world” to others?”. Maybe because of this I continue to write a short stories, that I called 'adult fairy tales'. All these stories also were made in hybrid genre: between documentary, mythology and my imagination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Time to time I am back to some Salinger's stories. Does it mean that he is my favourite author?) I don't know, but some his phrases are stayed in my mind... Something like: "People are always ruining things for you".

What about movies? I spend a lot of time behind my screen... First of all because I'm working at documentary film festival and need to watch a lot in preparing for festival. Secondly I have really pleasure to find out how directors construct their reality in films... For now one of (because I have a lot of lovely documentary films) my best experience in documentary is 'Strange Particles' by Denis Klebleev.
