About Me

Hi everyone! This is Viktoria, a girl from Bulgaria, recently moved to Amsterdam and looking forward to meeting new people and having new experiences. I've lived and worked abroad for the past 4 years and with every new country and culture, I believe I've grown as a person. I met so many amazing people throughout my journey. The reason I decided to move to Amsterdam is the diversity. People from all over the world with different stories gathered in this beautiful city.

I like to surround myself with positive people and energy; to challenge myself and expand my limits. For the little time I've been living in this city, I see how much I've changed. I became more open, curious, adventurous.

My passion is massage therapy, music, dancing and travelling. I cannot imagine my life without any of these things. I am a foodie and love trying new cuisines. I can cook delicious Bulgarian dishes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Let's talk about the universe, the amazing human mind, about dimentions and psychology. Let's dance, enjoy life. I am just beginning to explore the solo travelling, so I hope I meet like-minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music, alternative, tribal, r&b, reggae.
Some of my favorite movies are Vanilla Sky, The Butterfly Effect and Mr. Nobody. In general I really enjoy psychological thrillers. It’s all about exploring the infinite human psyche.
I've watched Friends probably more times than I should have... and still counting :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunset at the top of the Empire State Building, visiting Niagara Falls and going to one of the most beautiful and peaceful places - Europe's land's end in Sagres, Portugal.

As a personal thing, moving out of home when I was 18 and starting my work, travel and study trio abroad on my own, has been quite scary. Despite all the struggles it turned into the best time of my life. This journey has been amazing, and I am sure it will continue.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's talk about the universe, the amazing human mind, about dimentions and psychology. Let's have a beer, explore, dance, enjoy life. Let's just wander in the streets, in the nature. Let's go to the little hidden gems, hippie markets, cozy bars
