starting all over again
ABOUT ME
Born and bred in non-too-picturesque Zalaegerszeg settled in all-too-picturesque Zala to move after high school to yet another ugly town among beautiful hills – but this time much closer to the capital – to study English, Polish and Philosophy. Used to try avoid staying in Hungary for too long, so spent some 4 years altogether in Poland and England btw 2006-2015.
PHILOSOPHY
Wish I was a Stoic, the teenager in me wishes I've said Cynic, and I can't live up to either expectations just yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was living in an all-couchsurfer household in Plymouth 2014/15 and met an amazing amount of great hosts and travellers from all around the world; haven't hosted myself yet. I'm always up for a coffee and happy to show people around the area where I live.
Interests
Culture, with all those books and films and nooks and crannies of dusty little local museums managed by volunteers. Comics. Food and drink enthusiast (wishing she knew less about everything-free diets). Exploring new places. It's very hard to stop me talking once I've started speaking about these...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love them all! Serious.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find all sorts of small things amazing from good bread to another stroll on the coast path, but no diving with crocodiles / bungee-jumping from super high bridges / angels andunicorns in here. Though one night I saw a swing swinging on its own in a completely deserted playground in Eastern Poland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you what a Hungarian chicken stew should really look - and taste - like. I can a give a whole long talk about Cornish vs. Devon cream teas - and show you how I bake scones, too. I can talk for really long about literary translation and Polish comics. I might try to explain some Central and Eastern European history before I myself get totally confused. I'm afraid I'm kind of addicted to learning about new things and studying, so once I manage to shut up and fight the urge to discuss everything, I am more than happy to listen to right about anything.
