We are a young, adventurous couple, who traveled together for 8months as we decided to quit our jobs, pause our studies and travel the world into the great unknown! Right now we are settling in Melbourne.
I am a 22 years old Hungarian girl, I'm quite an artistic person who has an interest in psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, nutrition and a lot more. I like to express myself by art, I write and read a lot and also like to get into other people prespectives and to see how they deal with the everyday life and how they find their happiness.
John is a 27 year old Australian guy, who is intrested in science, sports and travel. He has a very positive, energetic attitude and believes that we are the leaders of our life and we can make everything come true if we are confident, work hard and take risks.

We both think the life is a never ending study where the most important is to always be happy and never stop developing yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason for our desire to couch surf is quite simple: it gives us the best way of meeting and interacting with locals, making new friends and experiencing just how exactly you live your daily lives! On top of this, it allows us to immerse ourselves in the local culture and finding the best secrets about the places to visit and things to do. It also gives a relaxed, care-free environment where we can be ourselves. It has the bonus over hostels and especially hotels/resorts as it provides a more secluded environment to meet new people and form new, lasting friendships! :)

Interests

I love art, science, theatre, movies and exhibitions. I love everything about nature and I would say everything natural. I love to travel and discover the world, see different cultures view and to see what makes them happy, how they live their everyday life how they deal with the silly system we humans created (money, work, developing) I love to go for hiking, read books about anything( I'm interested in your recommendations if you have :) ). I love good music what can also be anything just need a good atmosphere for it, I like cooking to go out to different bars (not that much in Melbourne, its too expensive and people are too pretencious. Abd I dont really drink alcohol since I understand how harmful is it. I like to discover small businesses, basicly I am curios about everything. I want to understand everything without judgement. There is always a reason or circumstances made someone be as they are, made the word be as it is. I want to understand the reasons behind the scene :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled home, from London to Hungary. It was about 2000km and took one month. Fairy to amsterdam than cycling following the rhine, than change and follow the Dune.
