About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel every inch of the world before I die and meeting amazing people on the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing person who is infatuated with music, fashion, and people. I love new, exciting adventures and absolutely love to be spontaneous. I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, where I usually hold at least two jobs, but I'm currently traveling around South America. I studied Marketing and Spanish at the University of Missouri where I participated in my sorority and the club volleyball program. I left the States in 2012 for the first time and traveled to India and fell in love with traveling that I didn't come home for 15 months! Now I'm exploring beautiful South America with my English boyfriend and looking to meet exciting people and experience new things! Cheers x

Music, Movies, and Books

All classic rock (I think I was made for the 60s/70s), I love new Indie bands, disco beats, electronic but I prefer different beats; spacey (Polish Ambassador) funky (Opiuo), and being from Chicago I of course love the blues. Top favorite movies are as follows: Factory Girl, Across the Universe, Practical Magic (I'm slightly obsessed with witches), A Little Princess, and of course Almost Famous. I'm a huge reader and usually carry a book with me. I love Paulo Cohelo, any travel stories, or reads about other cultures and how they live. Currently reading a John Steinback.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling, naturally. I've spent 5months in India and absolutely fell in love with the country. I still dream about going back there everyday. From there I moved to Melbourne, Australia to work and travel. I skydived over the Great Barrier Reef and roadtrip'd down the East Coast. I went back to SE Asia traveling through Thailand, Malaysia, Bali, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Cambodia, and returned home for a year and a half. During that time I traveled to Europe for a few weeks and Guatemala for two weeks in October. Now I'm back to traveling through South America and couldn't be happier!

Teach, Learn, Share

I practice and can teach yoga (I took a 5 week course in Rishikesh, India and lived on an ashram). I also enjoy meditation and spent 10 days in a Buddhist Silent Meditation program in Dharamasala, India aka mini Tibet. I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. Although sadly my spanish is not as good, it is improving as I practice each day in South America. I love learning and hope to teach English on this journey in the future. I absolutely love socializing and sharing my experiences and from working many years behind a bar, I can always make a good drink! Cheers!
