Really depends on occasion - with whom or where you are at the moment. I would wish to bring a music hall concert into my room before I go to sleep. But would not wear the headphones during the day in the street, so that not to miss the sound of environment.
I like movies and books but usually not overuse them. Very often the last one is my favorite. This time it was an old Lithuanian film based on fairy tale - a present from my sister.
