Hello! I am a IT professional living in San Francisco. I would describe myself as someone who is open-minded, liberal, likes meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is important in life to have goals, and to make plans to achieve them. What's fun about living is then to see whether the plans you've made will lead to the achievement of said goals. A little bit of science and a little bit of theory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The previous time I was in Europe I did couchsurfing quite extensively, but that was mostly organized on the CS account of my travel buddy. I kinda feel indebted to the community because I have couchsurfed but have no opportunity to host.

My interest are ideas and how people think. These are the things that really grab my attention and make life so much more interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) When I was going from Austria to Slovenia, I traveled by a car sharing website(mitfahrgelegenheit). It was an amazing experience because the mountainous region (Julian Alps) provided breathtaking scenery. I felt myself more and more overwhelmed by the beauty as we approached the Julian Alps, and it slowly increase in size until we were right at the foot of the mountain pass. It will be something etched in my memory forever.

2) 4 day hiking trip when I was staying in Germany. We climbed the highest mountain in Germany (zugspitze), swarm in a 'Jacuzzi', camped in the middle of nowhere, walk through a gorge and swarm in a crystal clear lake. Here's the video! http://vimeo.com/73064566
