About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the bright side in every single place / moment / person I meet!!!
ABOUT ME
Well, I'm a music lover. And a travel lover. And a food lover!!!!!! Maybe I should admit that I love many things in life, and feel very lucky that I have the opportunity to experience all of them!!!!
I prefer beer to wine, sea to mountain, a surprise to an expensive gift, and a best friend to all the money in the world.
I can't live without my friends, my motorbike, and chocolate!!!
PHILOSOPHY
I like discovering the good person within everyone, because I really believe there is, however hidden some times.
Smiling helps a lot!!! Not to mention that it's free... :P I personally smile a lot, not because I have to, but because I find in it a whole philosophy of a way of living.
Mottos :
* How can we be alone in a world full of lonely people?
* Happiness is like a bottle of wine. Very often it's right next to us. We just don't have the Îÿpener!
* You may regret for things you have done. But don't regret for the ones you haven't.
* Never say never!!!
* The craziest things in life come with the most spontaneous decisions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the time being I live with my parents and 3 siblings, so it's quite difficult to host somebody here... :S
But I would be glad to give you a tour or help you around the city when you come!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have everything but something negative to comment!!!!! ALL my CS acquaintances (8 so far) were just amazing, everybody treated me so nice, that they made me decide to do it as well as soon as I rent a place on my own!!!!! I'll certainly let you know when this happens... ;)
Interests
~ I love TRAVELING. All places are worth visiting, that's what I have learnt so far. The sky is the limit!
~ MEETING NEW PEOPLE. From other countries or my own, black or white, loud or quiet, muslims or christians. I really don't care - as long as they can be friendly and hold a conversation. :)
~ I'm CRAZY about motorbikes!!!! I just ADORE my 125cc motorbike, although it's small... I can't live without it!!!!
~ DANCING. I had a few courses in latin dance a few years ago, but basically it's the rhythm and the mood that comes out naturally anywhere & anytime!
~ SINGING is my religion! Poor neighbours... :P
~ PHOTOGRAPHY. I haven't practised it at all, but I really appreciate a good photo and admire a good photographer. I spend some of my leisure time seeing photos of all kinds.
~ EXPLORING MUSIC. I like the way you can never learn enough about it, there's always something new to listen to. I listen to many kinds of it all the time. I'm not a really good DJ, as I mix everything together, but I'm a huge fan of it, as it occupies many hours of my daily life. (+Going to concerts!!!)
~ LANGUAGES. It's my field of studies, and of course I didn't choose it accidentally... ;) I have many plans about learning more in the future...
~ As a result, practising my English. It's never enough, plus that I need it for my work.
~ FOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! Also, food, food & more food! I love trying new dishes, especially traditional ones. Really a miracle how I'm still not fat!
~ CHALLENGES. Of many - nearly all - kinds. Provided of course that sth seems challenging to me. ;)
- dogs
- singing
- concerts
- dancing
- dining
- chocolate
- wine
- beer
- traveling
- music
- languages
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch movies that much. Could be because I prefer outdoor activities. Anyway, I'm very interested in the unconventional movies, the creative, clever, meaningful and not mainstream ones. A few favorites are the following : "Amelie Poulain" (by far my favorite, both for the direction & the plot), likewise "Love me if you dare", "Catch me if you can", "Juno", & all Disney/Pixar productions. I believe they have much more to offer than the top 250 movies that imdb suggests...
--------------------------------------
Music??? Many sorts of. And i listen to them altogether! :P If I have to mention some artists, I will very roughly refer to a few : Black Keys, Florence & the Machine, Thievery Corporation, Cranberries, Oasis, Sheryl Crow, Shakira & Bebe, Alanis Morissette, Deus, PJ Harvey, Coldplay, Jarabe de Palo, Radiohead, U2, Melody Gardot.
+ Soundtrack of Vicky Cristina Barcelona & everything relevant.

As much a reader fan as I was in my teens, I'm not right now!! But I can distinguish at least one favorite : "Gone With the Wind", & its sequel "Scarlett".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- The moment when I first saw my dog. Although I wasn't planning to have one, on that day I just went to work, saw her outside, friendly and peaceful, and... that was it! I meant that "I will look after her" that I told my mother that day as much as I do now.
- Travelled to Portugal alone. I was 22, I was studying abroad but I had never been to a totally new country on my own. Of course I didn't regret it, I had an amazing time! It was one of the best decisions (and lessons) in my life!
- Once I decided to go on a trip abroad 2 days before. I got stressed and desperate trying to find a reasonably-priced ticket, get prepared and pack everything up, but hey - it was something more than just rewarding. Have you ever felt totally, overwhemingly happy??? :)
