ABOUT ME

I'm a social and open-minded girl, ready for new adventures and new things to learn. I want to experience as many cultures and countries in the world as possible, hopefully in a little bit more environmentally friendly way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new, interesting people, and to experience places through locals to understand some of the culture, not just the tourist sights.

Interests

Music has been a big part of my life, as a trombonist, so I love listening to all sorts of music, especially live music. The other big part of my life is the topics of my studies and voluntary work, like sustainable development and even more nerdy topics such as international trade. Otherwise I love travelling and culture, as well as parties, mountain hiking, good discussions and relaxing with good food and movies or boardgames.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jazz, funk, electronica, indie, afrobeat, reggae, folk... Jamie Cullum, Nina Simone and Paolo Nutini are some of my favourite artists.

Movies: Most kinds, except really scary ones. Some of my favourites are Intouchables and Le Chocolat. I really like movies based on true events.

Books: Unfortunately it's been mainly curriculum reading the last years. But I really like 'Together' by Anna Gavalda, Jodie Picoult's books, crime in general, and of course Harry Potter.
