I'm a plant-based solo traveller from Helsinki, Finland. I am currently studying economics but my true passion lies in self-discovery, sustainable development, yoga and seeing the world. I am always up for meeting new people and I live for new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to gain a deeper connection of the destinations I travel to, and of course to meet new people, share some laughs and get new perspectives on life.

Interests

I have a passion for ashtanga yoga and have been regularly practicing since November 2015. However, I am also interested in other forms of yoga. My favorite outdoor activities include all forms of boardsports and scubadiving. I also thoroughly enjoy hiking and rock climbing. However, as much as I love running around pursuing all of these activities, I am more than comfortable just chilling out, jamming on the guitar, reading a book, hanging out with some new friends, sipping tea, or knocking back a few beers. I really am an all around type of dude.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music depending on the mood and situation. Hip-hop and jazz as well as their fusions are my go-to genres, anything chilled out, but I like to keep an open mind. As far as movies go, I have a soft spot for Studio Ghibli movies, but anything that provokes a strong enough emotional reaction of any kind, is positive in my book. Speaking of books, my favorites include Shantaram, Game of Thrones and Freakonomics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the craziest thing I've done, is bridge jumping in Mostar, Bosnia off of the famous 24 meter bridge into a freezing cold river.
