How to live a life of maximal freedom? A strong, free life? One that has meaning beyond oneself and which grows to touch also others? One with space for wonder and miracles - a life of peaceful progress!

This is what I am building for myself, if it even can be built - but for sure there are better choices. At the moment I am travelling, teaching languages and conducting occasional hypnosis sessions, and amidst all of that I am studying my MA in Applied Linguistics, remotely, which I think has been the greatest idea ever!

Mostly I am social, radiant, sensitive, spontaneous, transparent and uncomplicated, but I'm also a trickster at times. Aaand we all have our moments of respectable downdrafts at times.
People tell me I'm a good listener, but don't worry, I can also entertain myself (if not others) with a nice speech or two - a speech so long I get sick of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting a new country or a new place is so much greater when meeting people that have already spent some time there. It's like a shortcut inside, but for sure more meaningful than an alone stay in a hotel - although that is sometimes very much needed!

I'm also desperately interested in meeting new people and learning from them, also to inspire them and to let them inspire me! I will be especially grateful if you are able to make me confront myself and see something I am still blind to - and this happens automatically, without saying a word.
There isn't yet enough amazing encounters to color my path and I am open for more colourful people, minds and souls!

I celebrate the diversity of existence. WOHOHOHOHOO!

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that has Spirit/Authentic Life - be that wild, raw, peaceful, celestial, crazy, hilarious - that is art. The translation/expression of the unique inner into the worldly. Or the expression of spirit in matter/form.

The latest amazement has been the movie, Dune! I am now reading all Frank Herbert's books in Portuguese. Anything that combines tough worldly reality with mysticism, philosophy, politics and technology/magic. These really speak to my inner world and the mystic there in. Esoterism awaits on my online book shelf.
I hate being in the box - so I seek outside it.

Life without music would be a huge loss, although I have discovered some bliss of silence - the most profound source of beauty for me. It is better described as Presence.

Presence invites presence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ok, so I don't know what is incredible, but here are some true stories

- Tragic, but still quite incredible. I have jumped from a cliff of 15 meters to the ground on my stomach and survived (my suicide attempt). (knowing I would survive, confusing I know...)

- I've been able to accumulate energy in (silent) meditation in a way that my feet were as if "burning "with heat (I consider that an accomplishment for myself)

- Once I moved my friend's (paralysed) arms with my will power alone! Yet it is not the only psychic experience to be shared. (I never did it again, though, because I found it a bit scary and irresponsible - because really, I didn't know what I was doing)

- One time I made a room full of people cry with a speech
- I've had telepathic experiences, also with horses and one peculiar cat!
- My friend and I organized a small Free Hugs event to evoke some smiles in the Finnish Winter!
- I've been canoeing 4 days alone with my wheelchair in the Finnish lakes. And then the storm arrived...
- Consider playing chess in a sauna in Germany for 2 hours?! (the toughest match ever)
- In Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy I have ridden down mountain roads with my wheelchair (40-70km/h!!)!
- some consider travelling alone in a wheelchair for 8 months an accomplishment?

And although it is hardly amazing, I never got covid - actually I am almost never ill/sick.

Teach, Learn, Share

So what can I share? How could I know before? Each encounter is a mystery unfolding. A sum of unknown factors.

Maybe I have some spiritual insight? Languages for sure.
Music I bring, as well as a few great dishes.
Most importantly myself.

I have felt my soul/spirit and understood that there is an unfloding process of wanting to get closer to that magnificence, beauty and perfection, I'd rather say wholeness, that we all have in ourselves.- the non-conceptual reality of lived experience that may be infinite, but that for sure invites the infinite.

Now I am learning about the various ideologies of the world, because of my language studies..
