Overview
About Me
Fun, weird, coffee-and-chocolate lover. A wanderluster at heart, though I haven't travelled that much -yet!
As a host, I would love to meet interesting people and show them the "hidden treasures" of Athens through long walks in beautiful streets.
*I will be able to host after July 15th as June is exam period at my university and I'll be abroad till mid-July*
As a guest -even though I haven't done yet on CS, I am a very convenient person and really interested in any stories you wish to share :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is my principle to try to meet new people while I travel -locals, other travellers, vagabonds, interesting people in general, who have a story to share and make me feel like I've experienced through them a place I've never been to or something unique that I wouldn't have discovered any other way. When I found out about CS from a friend who is an avid traveller, I thought "here is an opportunity to explore"! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My taste in music is so random honestly, I can find myself listening to eurovision hits - Bach - greek trash - movie soundracks in a row :P I can get excited with any new song in 2 seconds, so please share your music with me
Books: Currently seeking novels about mountaineering/hiking stories and stuff, like "Into thin air" by Jon Krakauer and "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed
Movies: I love going to the cinema but lately I haven't had the chance to see a really worthy movie...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(I'll write two things, because I can't choose between them :P)
I've been in the underground department of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and seen the amazing sunset from the dome of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to exchange stories/travel tips, awesome little moments that have made my travels so unique in my heart and of course learn new things from others. I would love for people to share their adventures with me and see a part of the world through the eyes of others.
If you like food and drinks and the less touristy part of Athens, I know just the right spots for every taste, because I like to walk a lot and discover "hidden" treasures of the city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Take them on amazing walks throughout the best spots of Athens, go to the beach together (5' minute walk from where I live), meet my friends and go have some fun with them (if you want). In my home you will find a warm welcome by my family and my mum will cook you delicacies. I would love it if you could teach me traditional recipies from your city/country and we could cook them together!
