ABOUT ME

I used to teach Maths in a highschool, but I discovered theater and it became more and more important in my life, so now I am on a break of teaching and fully occuppied with my improvisation group: IMPRODUCTIVOS (www.improductivos.com)

PHILOSOPHY

Yo no me considero un navegante
ni un nómada que va de un lado a otro,
pues mi sitio está¡ aquí­, junto a vosotros,
pero, aun negando ser un alma errante,

debo reconocer que no me frena
ningún inmovilismo cotidiano;
una cosa es cogerse de la mano
y, otra, no distinguir lazo y cadena.

Por eso, aunque mi ancla sea ligera,
siempre anhelo el feliz retorno al nido;
volver para sentir que no te has ido
le da sentido a la excursión entera.

¿Qué me traigo de allí­? Solo un reflejo
-en el refrán, mi Roma soy yo mismo-,
el viaje, en el fondo, es un espejo
donde mirarse en busca de espejismos,
y regresar, hundidos los complejos,
a salvo, de este lado del abismo.

I have a place to host people and I am also able to show the places of my city which I like best.

Just positive experiences, often even better than expected. People I hosted were always polite and people who hosted me were all generous and kind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in the highschool, a friend of mine and I started to exchange poems. She wrote really good ones and I had always told her that she should publish them. She refused, but gave me permission to do whatever I would like with them.

Fifteen years later, I wrote a play including her poems and performed it at the school where I work now. I invited her without telling a word about the play, and she saw girls on the stage telling her poems at the age she was when she wrote them.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an improviser, I can teach you the basic techniques of this kind of theater.
As a math teacher, I can help with that subject when someone needs it while traveling :-D
I am always looking forward to have a chat in any language to improve it.
I can also show good places to eat in Seville without spending a lot of money.
And I am interested on learning how to cook new dishes.
