Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION:

After being nomadic for more than 7 years, which includes living in a van for three years, starting a startup which would impact millions, hopefully! Want to give back all the love I got multifold!

AT A GLANCE:

I have been a nomad and travelling in India since 2016. That includes traveling for close to two years hitchhiking, more than 20000 km taking trucks, minivans, motorcycles, cars, buses, trains, flights, staying in bus stands, railway stations, petrol bunks, police stations, small huts, big homes, villas, star hotels, with people from different kinds of backgrounds, from IAS & IPS officers to IT employees, from homeless people to big business families, all WITHOUT SPENDING A RUPEE OF MY OWN, with the help of the love of people. I have experienced so many things. Some taught me farming, one took me to snorkel, one taught me photography, one taught me blogging, I had experienced horse riding, shooting in a shooting range stimulator with real guns, what else, all taught me how to love. Grateful!

After those two years, I travelled in a moped (a TVS Jupiter) for sometime, living with many people across the country, camping at various places. After that I built and lived in a van for three years before selling it to chase other dreams.

Over the years, I did a lot of volunteering at various places. I volunteered as a writer, a photographer, a teacher, a night manager, an interior decorator, a social media manager, a logo designer, a recruiter, an operations manager, a driver, a waiter, a cleaner etc.

All of this happened because of love of people, as simple as that. In these seven years on the road, I’ve never experienced any negative thing, I’ve never slept with an empty stomach. When I say humans are good, they really are.

I'm just grateful and humbled by the love of each person who has been a part of my journey, for believing me, for trusting me, for understanding me, for showering unconditional love on me. I can't be thankful enough!

To all the others whom I have never met, who are reading this, thank you for giving me that confidence, thank you for cheering for me, and believe me the road is brilliant, humans are beautiful, I’ve tested it for you, I’ve travelled for you. Go out and you can do anything, just anything. I’m a standing example. The universe will help you.

I’ll offer anything that I can with love, with a smile because that’s what I have learnt all these years.

MORE ABOUT ME:

I wake up every day to share smiles and inspire people. I travel, I learn, I inspire, I write and I speak.

I am on this journey of learning new things and unlearning the conditioning I have grown up with by either travelling or from travellers. I'll take back the learnings and the unlearnings again to people on the road.

Inspiring people to follow their dreams and touch their lives at a micro-level is one thing that is very important to me. If every single person in this world does things they love, lives their dream, then the world will be a better place. To leave this world better than it is as of now is crucial.

We all have our own roles in this huge human soceity. I personally believe this is mine, along with bringing in a mesaurable impact in some way or the other.

People and their stories excite me. I love talking. No, maybe listening, more. I'm this guy who listens to anything and everything, so intently. Start speaking, I listen. Stop speaking, I share.

Kind of an introvert. It is hard for me to do small talk. But I love spending time with people conversing on various topics that opens my mind, that challenges my perspectives. Also, I love spending time alone by the side of a river or watching a sunset or a magnificient mountain.

Art is something that is very close to me. I just love art in any form. Tell me, you are an artist, you won my heart, like literally. I'll want to learn your art and may be create something together.

I believe, happiness is subjective. Things that make you happy, may not make any other human alive happy. Choosing your own happiness, choosing your own art is extremely important.

At the same time, respecting other individuals is also crucial. We all are individuals with different dreams, desires, and passions. Every individual has the right to live a happy life, the same as you.

I've this writer's exaggeration inbuilt. If I write or speak about someone or something, I exaggerate a bit. All on the good side. :D

I'm a seeker and a feminist/humanist.

I'm practicing Yoga and always on the lookout for a great Yoga teacher. If you are one, and if we are destined to meet, I would love to practice it with you.

I'm also planning to learn contemporary dance someday.

PHILOSOPHY:
"Everyone has their own story to tell. Sit back, listen, appreciate, love, all before judging."

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

To meet great people so that I can learn great things, unlearn regressive things and may be teach them some. Sharing a place to stay is one wonderful thing. I'm here to give the experience of "Athithi devo bhava" (Guest is God).

Helping someone is something you do expecting nothing in return. That's the way it should be and that's the way I am.

Interessi

Travelling, Inspiring, Music (Lyric writer, A bit of Keyboard, On the urge to learn Classical music), Technology, Reading, Nature, Movies, Art, Writer (Writes in English), Martial arts (Especially KungFu and Krav Maga, Want to learn it if someone teaches me) and Yoga.

Musica, film e libri

Music : Almost everything as everything has its own flavour.

Also I like music combined with some words which are deep.

I have some inclination towards sufi music.

Movies: Good movies entertain. Great movies teach. Good thing is that most movies are great movies.

Books : Non-Fiction, I just love them. Not because they have too many pages but because they are true, they are real. Occasionally reads fiction too.

Sapiens by Yuval Norah inspired me a lot. That’s one book I recommend everyone!

Also I love to read Epics. Indian epics like Mahabharata, Ramayana are brilliant. If we somehow cross paths, don't forget to ask me about these, I'm sure you'll not regret.

I have even read different perspectives of the same epic.

I'm also into books that challenge my perspectives.

And I love Sherlock Holmes series. Sir Arthur Canon Doyle is a genius. He has to write a puzzle, solve a puzzle, solve it brilliantly, all by himself. That baffles me.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

1. Hitchhiking and travelling without money. I've hitchhiked close to 20000 km, in numerous trucks, numerous two-wheelers, numerous cars, numerous trains, and numerous buses, few flights (strangers bought me tickets).

I've stayed in the bus stand, railway station, petrol bunk, police station, big houses, flats, hostels, PGs, huts, small rooms, villas, college hostels, star hotels, on the road too.

I've stayed with families, bachelor's, intellectually disabled people, homeless, all people who are rich at heart, a lot of them.

2. I have self-built a home inside a van. Took me 3 years of dreaming, 2 years of working various things for it like selling tea on the road, selling toys on the road, delivery boy, a chef in a food truck, a freelance content writer etc. Finally took me a year of working in it to finish the build.

I lived in it for three years before selling it to chase other dreams.

3. I have travelled in a car for 7000 kilometres to see my girlfriend!

Insegna, impara, condividi

Teach: Teaching is one divine job. Every single person teaches you something.
I can teach languages I know and some other things which are important to me through a lot of stories I have accumulated over the years.

Learn: Everything is a learning experience. I repeat, every damn thing.

Share: Sharing, the thing which made humans the elite group of animals. I can share stories, a lot of them.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

Knowledge. Stories. A person who laughs at things with heart, who listens to everything, who speaks about lot of things!
