Overview
About Me
I graduated with a MSc from University of Toronto. I am a long-distance runner and love Jazz. Especially, hard-bop jazz by Bobby Timmons, Art Blakey, Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, Miles Davis, etc. Recently, been enjoying dance, mainly latin and afropop! I love solo-travelling and exploring new places. I also love comedy and improv!
I am 4x vaccinated against COVID-19.
I will be running the following races this year:
- Around The Bay 30K race in Hamilton (March)
- The San Francisco Marathon (July)
- Chicago Marathon (October)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The past year I discovered that I loved travelling. Helped me to discover and know myself a little bit more. So I plan to do more of that while building lasting relationships and experiencing new cultures (and food ofc!).
Usually I am just running around new places, new neighbourhoods while hunting for local coffee shops, farmer's markets, comedy clubs and live jazz venues.... taking back home a piece of the place, culture, friendships with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Jazz. Deeply admire artists from the 60s including Bobby Timmons, Art Blakey, Hank Mobley, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Horace Silver. My favourite Jazz piece is called "Moanin'."
Love reading about psychology, neurophilosophy, and genomics. Recently finished a book by Prof. Patricia Churchland called Conscience that explores the origin of social interaction, morality and altruism in human beings over the process of evolution.
Some of my favourite movies include Shutter Island, The Free Guy, Good Will Hunting.
