Hi, there! I'm Vina, currently studying communication science in a university in Malang City. It's my forth year staying in East Java and I couldn't more grateful because sometimes living outside home gave me a lot of new experiences. I was raised in South Borneo (yes, it's an amazing rain forest area, I could assure you that). Of course I'd like to discuss how cultures are quite different in here and there, though it's still in the same nation.

I like travelling, mostly to the beach. I enjoy the sea but I can't swim (silly, I know). I have visited many beach in South Malang and they were beautiful. I've been to beach in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Banyuwangi, and Bali. My favorite is when the timing is right, because you know, we can hardly enjoy the beach if it's rainy, cloudy, etc.

I also interested in culture and history, though my understanding of what build humanity is poor. That's why I'd like to talk to people and hear what they say about it. It is nice to know that people is diverse, but they'd all still have something in common about humanity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think we all need to get out of our comfort zone every once in awhile. I also want to widening my perspective of life through different opinions. Deep conversations about what we believe or even just how weather affects our mood is fantastic to me! It is interesting to meet new people so that we could understand this world better.

I listen to music based on my mood, I guess. Sometimes I listen to popular music, or I could just go away with Elvis. Movies are amazing! Fantasy stories are the best. Currently, I'm reading religion and history books. Eric Weiner's is a good choice of books!

Sure we can exchange culture study. I basically grew up in marginalized area of Indonesia, that's a thing not everyone could have. :D
