Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is the best way to travel and explore places. I have never felt good in hotels. I like the feeling of knowing a place through locals. People make travel great, destinations are only a part of the travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept beside a waterfall in a forest. Climbed halfway up to take a shower in the morning. Got caught by forest officials after I got down but talked my way out of it.
Exploring corn fields with Mexican farmers and being invited for lunch.
Offroading on a volcano in Guatemala.
Getting stranded in a random village during winter in Mexico. Sleeping in a dingy room, waking up next morning to go hike around a volcano.
