ABOUT ME

I am 25 years old and studying medicine in Innsbruck. I really like it and there is still enough time to go out and travel the world. Before I got into University, I travelled around Oceania for 4 months, including Australia, NZ and the beautiful Solomon Islands. It was the first time I tried couchsurfing and I loved it. Now my plans are to see more of Europe, as you never really realize how awesome this continent is until you're far away from it.
I am a very uncomplicated person and I love to meet new people from all over the world. And let's face it, really getting to know someone from where you travel is so much better than making short, superficial contact with loads of people in impersonal hostels. That is why I am a couchsurfer!

So far every person I've stayed with was very nice to me and I guess every one of them thought me something important, which is priceless!

Interests

In my spare time I like to listen to and make music (I play the Trumpet, E-Bass and Guitar and I sing) and play teamsports such as hockey or soccer. Plus, I love to go skiing and play squash.
I'm also interested in movies and TV series as well as news from all over the world.
But my main interest, of course, is to travel and to experience a lot of different countries and cultures and to meet a lot of nice people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess experiencing the beautiful and special country and people of Solomon Islands has been the greatest and most special thing in my life!

The blue fire atop Mount Ijen on Java was so surreal and beautiful it is still sending showers down my back

Well I am willing to learn quite everything. I can teach some musical instruments and theory and I'm not the worst cook ;)
