About Me
Hey, y'all, the name's Vince. 24 years young from Asheville, North Carolina. I'm a tall, lanky guy who sounds European but trust me: I'm American. Kind of on the quiet side of things but always open to whatever is going on.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to get outside of my comfort zone starting this year. I want to travel to anywhere I haven't been and meet what interesting humans that are out there. I'm a pretty shy and reserved guy for the most part but I'm living by the mantra of diving into anything to get me out of my comfort zone. And so here I am. Won't you have me?

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a massive progressive rock nerd. And a big metalhead. And vinyl-file. Most things involving music will get my attention and you'll be stuck with me ranting on it for a couple hours.
I love my comics and have been working to become a comic writer for awhile now. Also take dips into 20th century experimental works. If the story goes in the sci fi direction or any weird direction at that, I'm interested.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited Cuba on study abroad immediately after Fidel Castro's passing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a good deal of wilderness skills (shelter building, firemaking, spoon carving, woods crafts, etc.) and always want to step into that teacher role for anyone curious.
Always curious to see what other people can teach me.
I'm really into martial arts at the moment and really want to learn all the tools in the books, especially when it comes to striking.
Playing music is something I'm also trying to get back in there so always open to anyone who wants to jam. Especially if they like it spacious or LOUD.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Warmth, happiness, hilarity, music, a journey of personal growth, some good food, and willingness to jump onto any bandwagon if it means a fun time.
